LEAD MAKEUP ARTIST

Kristi Wooden is a 32 years old San Diego native. She has three beautiful children and considers motherhood to be her greatest ministry. She is a positive influence in her community; spreading love and encouragement to all she can. Kristi has always had a passion and love for makeup artistry since she was a child. When she was young, she would sneak her mom's makeup and through practice and play, she was able to learn how to apply lipstick with ease and precision. Kristi discovered her love for art through the years she practiced dance and ballet. With each dance recital and performance, she was introduced to more and more makeup techniques and skills and by the end of her dance years, Kristi recognized her love and appreciation for makeup.

Kristi is a firm believer that beauty is from within and she makes it her goal to help women show their inner beauty. After graduating high school, She knew exactly what path she was meant to follow, her true passion, makeup. She has been in the makeup industry for a little over 14 years now, a large chunk of which she worked at Mac cosmetics. She worked large industry events, teaching multiple classes, working events in LA, and working at the top Mac store in San Diego. Although Kristi loved her job at Mac, she knew she was ready to move on and pursue her dreams. She is now a full-time freelance makeup artist. Kristi specializes in bridal makeup, photoshoots, and special occasion makeup.

LEAD HAIRSTYLIST

Kayla was born and raised in San Diego but her parents are from Buffalo, New York. Because of that she has always felt she had the east coast humor with the west coast laid back personality! She grew up the only girl with 3 brothers and obsessed with all things beauty! She learned at a young age how to braid by braiding her oldest brothers hair. In elementary school she played soccer and everyone called her soccer Barbie because her hair always had to be perfect before scoring a goal. That’s when her parents knew what her destiny in life was.

She has a decade of experience in the wedding industry. Although she works behind the chair five days a week being a part of some one’s wedding day is truly her passion and it’s what made her fall in love with her career!

She specializes in bohemian, romantic, and timeless bridal hair but her main mission is to create the look you’ve always imagined for your big day. You will rarely see her without a smile on her face. She knows how important every aspect of the big day is so she is always working at making sure everyone is happy and having a good time. She feels so lucky to be able to call this her “job” and meet all the beautiful brides that inspire her daily!

Katie is a beauty enthusiast who loves to bring her passion for the industry into her professional life!

After constantly giving close family and friends glamorous looks for fun; she attended Bellus academy and received her license in the field of Esthetics in 2020.

Doing makeup has been such a beautiful and rewarding artistry! Making people feel their most beautiful and confident brings her immense joy and happiness.

In her personal life, she has a wonderful husband of 10 years and three beautiful daughters.

HAIRSTYLIST

Leela is a seasoned hairstylist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. Born and raised in San Diego, Leela discovered her passion for hair styling at a young age while helping her fellow dancers prepare for performances. After graduating from Paul Mitchell the School, she began her career as a hairstylist and quickly gained a reputation for her ability to create stunning and personalized looks for her clients.

Leela strongly believes that every bride deserves to feel beautiful and confident on their wedding day. She strives to create an atmosphere of good vibes and laughter during every bridal appointment, ensuring that every bride she works with remembers their special day fondly.

Leela takes pride in connecting with her clients on a personal level and making sure their individual needs and preferences are met. She has a keen eye for detail and stays up-to-date with the latest hair trends and techniques to provide her clients with the best possible service.

When she's not creating beautiful hairstyles, Leela enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids. She's an avid artist and often spends her free time exploring her creativity through various mediums. She also practices yoga, breath work, and Pilates to stay grounded and centered, and loves to dance whenever she gets the chance. As a lover of the outdoors, she finds solace in the beach and enjoys cold plunging to invigorate her senses.
